221 individu ditahan, dadah RM120,000 dirampas dalam Op Tapis Sibu

Polis Sibu tahan 221 individu, rampas dadah syabu bernilai RM120,000 dalam Op Tapis Narkotik sepanjang sebulan operasi.

SIBU: Seramai 221 individu termasuk 15 wanita dan tiga warga asing ditahan dalam Op Tapis Narkotik di daerah ini sejak awal bulan lepas hingga semalam.

Ketua Polis Daerah Sibu ACP Zulkipli Suhaili berkata dadah disyaki syabu seberat 3,163.55 gram bernilai RM120,214.90 turut dirampas.

Sebanyak 256 kertas siasatan dibuka manakala 246 kes telah didakwa di mahkamah di bawah Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1952.

“Polis mengalu-alukan orang ramai tampil menyalurkan maklumat berkaitan dadah,” katanya dalam kenyataan.
