M’sian woman slams food seller for poorly prepared onion rings

A woman’s food order sparks outrage after onion rings shared on Threads appeared unbattered, prompting angry reactions from netizens.

BUYING food from eateries these days can be a hit or miss, with customers never quite knowing whether their food will turn out delicious or a complete disappointment.

Unfortunately, one woman’s recent experience fell short of expectations after she purchased some onion rings.

“How could they do this? If you’re running a business, do it sincerely — not carelessly like this,” she said in a Threads post.

An image attached to the post showed that the onion rings did not appear to have any batter, unlike the typical onion rings served at most eateries.

Replying to a comment, the woman said that although she could not recall the exact price of the onion rings, she had purchased a packet of fried rice and pasta along with the onion rings, bringing the total to RM31.

Netizens were just as furious as the woman over what they described as the seller’s careless preparation of the onion rings, and the fact that such food was being sold for profit.

“This is upsetting when food sellers do this. If they do not know how to prepare it properly, they should learn until they get it right,” one user commented.

“Onion wrong,” another user joked.

“Please report the seller. This is just fried onions,” a user advised.
