JITRA: Seorang pemandu van warga Thailand dihadapkan ke Mahkamah Majistret di sini atas pertuduhan memandu secara berbahaya sehingga menyebabkan kematian seorang penunggang motosikal wanita.

Yusof Senkonam, 60, didakwa menyebabkan kematian Fatin Nursyafikah Haris Bawijad, 22, di persimpangan lampu isyarat RTC Napoh, Jalan Alor Setar-Bukit Kayu Hitam pada 10.30 malam 15 Jan lepas.

Pendakwaan dikendalikan oleh Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Nurul Asyiqin Hedzir manakala tertuduh belum melantik peguam.

Tiada jaminan ditawarkan memandangkan tiada pengakuan direkodkan dan mahkamah menetapkan 8 Feb depan sebagai tarikh sebutan semula kes bagi mendapatkan khidmat jurubahasa Thai.
