Amir Hamdan to step down as Prasarana CEO

PETALING JAYA: Prasarana Malaysia Bhd president and group CEO Amir Hamdan will step down after nearly eight years with the public transport operator, including less than a year in the top role.

In a statement, Prasarana said Amir is leaving for personal reasons, in line with his plans for the next phase of his career.

“Prasarana records its highest appreciation for his contributions and leadership throughout his service, and wishes him all the best in his future undertakings,” the group said.

Prasarana, which operates Malaysia’s LRT, MRT, monorail and bus networks, said further details on leadership continuity will be announced through its official communication channels.
