KUALA LUMPUR: Optimax Holdings Bhd, an eye specialist service provider, has launched its Myopia Control Kids Package under Prudential Assurance Malaysia Bhd’s No Claims Benefit during the Vision, Wellness & Family Fun Day organised in collaboration with Prudential.

As part of Prudential’s PRUPanel Plus network, Optimax Specialist Centre Damansara Jaya represents an important step in Prudential’s ongoing efforts to expand access to quality healthcare services through trusted provider partnerships.

The launch of the Myopia Control Kids Package reflects a shared commitment to promoting preventive eye care and early intervention among children.

Prudential’s No Claims Benefit rewards eligible policyholders who remain claim-free with access to selected health and wellness rewards and privileges.

Through this benefit, eligible policyholders and their families can conveniently access specialised myopia management solutions.

By combining trusted clinical expertise, innovative treatment options, and a seamless care journey, Prudential and Optimax aim to deliver an elevated eye care experience that supports better visual outcomes for children while providing greater convenience, accessibility, and peace of mind for families.

As Malaysia’s first full-range Myopia Control Centre, Optimax offers a comprehensive suite of evidence-based myopia management solutions, including Orthokeratology overnight lenses, MiSight daily disposable contact lenses and myopia control spectacles, to name a few.

Optimax CEO Sandy Tan said these milestones reflect the group’s continued efforts to make quality eye care more accessible while strengthening position as a comprehensive eye healthcare provider.

“Our collaboration with Prudential supports greater access to preventive eye care, particularly for children requiring myopia management, while the recognition from Zeiss affirms our commitment to deliver world-class cataract treatment through advanced technologies and clinical excellence.”

Optimax achieved a significant industry milestone when Optimax Specialist Centre Damansara Jaya and Optimax Klang Eye Specialist Centre were awarded the Zeiss Premium Cataract Workflow Award (Southeast Asia).

This recognition makes Optimax the only eye care provider in Malaysia to receive the prestigious award, reflecting its commitment to clinical excellence, the adoption of advanced technology, and patient-centred cataract care.

“As the prevalence of myopia continues to rise among younger generations while Malaysia’s ageing population drives increasing demand for cataract treatment, Optimax remains committed to invest in innovative solutions and specialised expertise to meet evolving patient needs across every stage of life,” Tan said.
