KUALA LUMPUR: T7 Global Bhd has announced the execution of a supplemental agreement for the baggage handling system asset replacement program at KL International Airport Terminal 1, marking a key administrative milestone for the long-term infrastructure project.
According to a Bursa Malaysia filing, the supplemental agreement was entered into on November 25, 2025, between Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn Bhd, Vanderlande Logistics Pte Ltd (formerly known as Siemens Logistics Pte Ltd) and T7 Kemuncak Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of T7 Global.
It builds on earlier announcements made in December 2022, which disclosed the award of the project to the VL–T7 Consortium, as reflected in a letter of award dated October 21, 2022.
The project scope covers the design, construction, installation, integration, completion, testing, and commissioning of the proposed replacement of the baggage handling system at KL International Airport Terminal 1.
Under the newly executed supplemental agreement, the parties have formalised revisions to the project timeline and aligned their respective obligations to reflect current site conditions and operational requirements.
As a result of the revised arrangements, the project’s completion date has been extended to the fourth quarter of 2028, the exchange filing noted.
The T7 Global filing noted that the revised timeline is intended to provide clearer execution certainty while ensuring the work remains aligned with the employer’s requirements and the objectives of the asset replacement program.
The project undertaken by the VL–T7 Consortium comprises Vanderlande Logistics, an established global airport logistics specialist, and T7 Global through its subsidiary, T7 Kemuncak.
