Banjir: 20 kes baharu Covid-19 dikesan libatkan mangsa di PPS Kelantan, Terengganu

JELI: Sebanyak 20 kes Covid-19 dikesan melibatkan mangsa banjir yang ditempatkan di pusat pemindahan sementara (PPS) di Kelantan dan Terengganu dari 22 Dis lepas hingga semalam, kata Menteri Kesihatan Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.

Beliau berkata daripada jumlah itu, 15 kes dilaporkan di Kelantan manakala lima kes lagi di Terengganu.

“Kesemua kes Covid-19 yang dilaporkan adalah stabil dan terdiri daripada kategori dua (17 kes), kategori tiga (2 kes) dan kategori empat (1 kes).

“Kes Covid-19 kategori empat merupakan warga emas dengan komorbid hipertensi tidak terkawal, namun pesakit terbabit telah discaj dari Hospital Jeli di Kelantan, semalam,“ katanya pada sidang media selepas melawat mangsa banjir di PPS Sekolah Kebangsaan Jeli 1, di sini hari ini.

Turut hadir Timbalan Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan (Kesihatan Awam) Datuk Dr Norhayati Rusli dan Pengarah Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri (JKNK) Kelantan Datuk Dr Zaini Hussin.

Mengulas lanjut, Dr Dzulkefly berkata setakat ini sebanyak 297 pasukan perubatan, 286 pasukan kesihatan, 102 pasukan Perkhidmatan Kesihatan Mental dan Sokongan Psikososial (MHPSS) dan 286 pasukan promosi digerakkan ke PPS seluruh negara bagi memberi perkhidmatan kepada mangsa banjir.

“Sehingga hari ini, tiada keperluan bantuan mobilisasi petugas ke negeri yang terlibat banjir, namun kita sentiasa bersedia untuk menggerakkan pasukan mobilisasi ke negeri terjejas banjir sekiranya diperlukan.

“Selain itu, sebanyak 123 Bantuan Awal Psikologi (PFA) turut dijalankan kepada petugas kesihatan bagi mengesan awal masalah kesihatan mental untuk memberi rawatan selanjutnya,“ katanya.

Beliau berkata aktiviti kawalan dan pencegahan penyakit sentiasa dilakukan oleh pasukan kesihatan di PPS seperti pemeriksaan tempat penyediaan makanan, pemantauan kualiti bekalan air, pemusnahan tempat pembiakan nyamuk dan sebagainya bagi mencegah penularan penyakit berjangkit. –Bernama
