Kerajaan perkuat keselamatan di Sabah – Mohamed Khaled

KUALA LUMPUR: Kerajaan akan terus memperkukuh tahap keselamatan di Sabah meskipun negeri itu kini berada dalam keadaan stabil, menurut Menteri Pertahanan Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.

Dalam kenyataan di Facebook, beliau menegaskan bahawa kerajaan memberikan perhatian serius terhadap sebarang bentuk ancaman di Sabah, terutamanya memandangkan risiko yang lebih tinggi disebabkan kedudukan geografinya.

Mohamed Khaled turut menyeru veteran Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) agar terus berperanan aktif dalam masyarakat bagi menyokong usaha pasukan keselamatan.

“Keamanan yang dinikmati tidak mungkin dirasai tanpa jasa mereka,“ katanya semasa merujuk kepada sumbangan besar veteran ATM.

Beliau juga menyatakan komitmen kerajaan dalam meningkatkan kebajikan veteran ATM, termasuk peruntukan tahunan yang semakin meningkat.

Semasa lawatan kerja di Tawau, Mohamed Khaled menghadiri Majlis Penganugerahan Pingat Jasa Malaysia sebagai tanda penghargaan kepada bekas anggota tentera.

“Sebagai rakyat, kita perlu menghayati sejarah perjuangan mereka demi masa depan negara yang lebih baik,“ tambahnya.

The project involves supplying critical steel infrastructure and precision metal components for an advanced airflow management system, with the end user being one of the world’s largest cloud and e-commerce platforms. With this latest win, OXB’s total data centre-related contract value now stands at RM9.6 million, with completion expected by end-2026.
