Police seek public’s help to find 12-year-old Gwynne Mia Erbin missing after being dropped off at school in Likas.
KOTA KINABALU: Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a 12-year-old girl who was reported missing after she was sent to school in Likas yesterday.
District police headquarters, in a statement today, said the missing student had been identified as Gwynne Mia Erbin, who is of Lundayeh ethnicity.
It said she was last seen at 5.55 am after being dropped off in front of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Lok Yuk, but was found not to have attended classes and has not been located since.
“Gwynne was reported to be wearing a blue pinafore school uniform, white shoes and carrying a white floral-patterned bag.
“She is of medium build, with a fair complexion, stands about 155 centimetres tall, and has short black hair and brown eyes,” the statement said.
The girl’s family has made various efforts to locate her, including sharing information through WhatsApp groups and with the local community, but she has yet to be found, it said.
