Lebih 25,000 mangsa banjir di lima negeri setakat 8 malam pada Dis 27- NADMA

KUALA LUMPUR: Jumlah mangsa banjir di lima negeri mencatatkan penurunan kepada 25,763 orang setakat 8 malam ini berbanding 28,310 orang pagi semalam (Dis 27).

Laporan terkini yang dikeluarkan oleh Pusat Kawalan Bencana, Agensi Pengurusan Bencana Negara (NADMA) memaklumkan Kelantan kekal dengan jumlah mangsa tertinggi sebanyak 19,423 orang yang dipindahkan ke 64 pusat pemindahan sementara (PPS), meningkat daripada 17,466 orang di 89 PPS pada 6 pagi semalam.

Menurut laporan itu, 36 PPS dibuka di Pasir Mas yang menempatkan 17,590 mangsa, 19 di Kuala Krai (1,149 mangsa), lima di Tanah Merah (327 mangsa) serta masing-masing dua PPS di Tumpat (239 mangsa) dan Gua Musang (118 mangsa).

Di Terengganu pula, jumlah mangsa mencatatkan penurunan kepada 5,983 orang yang berlindung di 60 PPS berbanding 10,103 orang di 113 PPS pada sebelah pagi dengan daerah terjejas meliputi Besut, Dungun, Hulu Terengganu, Kemaman, Kuala Terengganu dan Setiu.

Di Pahang, sebanyak 206 mangsa berlindung di lima PPS di daerah Jerantut, Kuantan, Lipis dan Cameron Highlands berbanding 485 orang di sembilan PPS pagi tadi.

Laporan itu turut memaklumkan daripada lima PPS yang masih dibuka di Pahang, PPS di daerah Cameron Highlands membabitkan insiden tanah runtuh dan menempatkan 87 orang daripada 17 keluarga.

Di Sabah, 30 mangsa ditempatkan di dua PPS di Paitan manakala di Johor pula terdapat peningkatan kepada 121 orang di tiga PPS di daerah Johor Bahru dan Segamat berbanding 83 orang di satu PPS pagi tadi.

Hujan berterusan dijangka berlaku sepanjang hari ini di daerah Dungun dan Kemaman di Terengganu serta Jerantut, Kuantan dan Rompin di Pahang selain Segamat, Mersing dan Kota Tinggi di Johor. – Bernama
