Warga emas didakwa bunuh rakan

BUTTERWORTH: Seorang lelaki warga emas dihadapkan ke Mahkamah Majistret di sini hari ini atas pertuduhan membunuh rakannya pada 27 April lepas.

Yee Fatt Seong, 70, mengangguk faham selepas pertuduhan terhadapnya dibacakan di hadapan Hakim Nor Azah Kasran.

Tiada pengakuan direkodkan daripada tertuduh kerana kes berkenaan di bawah bidang kuasa Mahkamah Tinggi.

Yee didakwa membunuh Loo Ah Teong, 63, di sebuah pondok rehat di Jalan Kolam, Cheruk Tokun, Bukit Mertajam antara 2 hingga 3.22 petang, 27 April.

Pertuduhan dikemukakan mengikut Seksyen 302 Kanun Keseksaan yang membawa hukuman mati atau penjara antara 30 hingga 40 tahun dan minimum 12 sebatan, jika sabit kesalahan.

Pendakwaan dikendalikan Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Nurameera Shahrul Azreen manakala tertuduh tidak diwakili peguam.

Mahkamah menetapkan 30 Jun ini bagi sebutan semula kes dan tertuduh tidak dibenarkan ikat jamin.

Terdahulu, media melaporkan seorang lelaki warga emas maut dipukul dengan kayu sebelum ditikam dengan pisau dalam kejadian 27 April itu.

Oxford Innotech Bhd (OXB) has secured a second data centre contract worth RM4.8 million within three weeks from the same Australia-based client, via its subsidiary CG Solutions Enterprise Sdn Bhd. The project involves supplying critical steel infrastructure and precision metal components for an advanced airflow management system, with the end user being one of the world’s largest cloud and e-commerce platforms. With this latest win, OXB’s total data centre-related contract value now stands at RM9.6 million, with completion expected by end-2026.
