Kenaikan tambang bas sekolah, MOT terima maklum balas daripada pelbagai pihak

MELAKA: Kementerian Pengangkutan (MOT) menerima maklum balas daripada pelbagai pihak berhubung cadangan kenaikan kadar tambang bas sekolah bagi sesi persekolahan penggal baharu pada Mac depan namun belum terdapat apa-apa keputusan mengenainya setakat ini.

Timbalan Menterinya, Datuk Hasbi Habibollah (gambar) berkata perkara itu perlu dikaji terlebih dahulu kerana ia melibatkan pelbagai pihak terutamanya ibu bapa dan pada masa ini juga tiada perbincangan lanjut dengan mana-mana persatuan atau pengusaha bas sekolah.

“Yang sebenarnya semua ini mestilah dikaji sebab semuanya mempunyai bab (peranan) terutamanya ibu bapa, jadi kita belum keluarkan apa-apa keputusan tentang itu.

“Memang kita ada terima macam-macam cadangan tapi ia masih lagi dikaji,“ katanya ketika ditemui pemberita selepas Majlis Perasmian Litar Latihan dan Ujian Memandu Akademi Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) Melaka di Tiang Dua, di sini hari ini.

Majlis dirasmikan Ketua Menteri, Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh dan turut dihadiri Ketua Pengarah JPJ, Datuk Rospiagos Taha.

Semalam akhbar melaporkan tambang bas sekolah bagi sesi persekolahan penggal baharu dijangka akan meningkat susulan pertambahan kos operasi dan penyelenggaraan jentera terutama di kawasan bandar seperti Lembah Klang.

Presiden Persekutuan Persatuan-Persatuan Bas Sekolah Malaysia, Amali Munif Rahmat dilaporkan sebagai berkata peningkatan harga itu bagaimanapun tidak sama dan ia akan bergantung kepada operator selaku pihak yang menjalankan operasi. –Bernama
