Kes koktail molotov: Polis siasat pelbagai aspek, masyarakat diminta jangan buat spekulasi

KUALA LUMPUR: Polis akan menyiasat pelbagai aspek berhubung insiden melontar bom koktail molotov di kediaman Ahli Parlimen Beruas Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham di Ayer Tawar, Perak hari ini.

Ketua Polis Negara Tan Sri Razarudin Husain (gambar) berkata ini termasuk mengumpul risikan daripada semua sudut Cawangan Khas dan maklumat awam.

Beliau berkata polis juga akan mengenal pasti sama ada insiden itu mempunyai kaitan dengan komen yang dikeluarkan Ngeh tempoh hari.

“Sekiranya ada tangkapan, barulah kami nampak (sama ada) ia menjurus kepada komen YB (Yang Berhormat) Ngeh atau sebaliknya.

“Ketika ini, seolah-olah insiden itu berlaku disebabkan komen dan (dakwaan) campur tangan dalam isu agama Islam namun siasatan masih dijalankan,” katanya kepada Bernama malam ini.

Razarudin berkata risikan juga mendapati Ngeh tiada sebarang isu dengan komuniti di Ayer Tawar.

“Saya minta kepada masyarakat agar tidak membuat sebarang spekulasi berhubung insiden ini kerana siasatan masih diteruskan,” katanya.

Beliau turut menasihati orang ramai agar tidak bermain dengan sebarang sentimen agama yang boleh mengganggu-gugat ketenteraman awam di negara ini.

Mengulas tahap keselamatan Ahli Parlimen itu, Razaruddin berkata polis akan menentukan penugasan bagi memastikan keselamatan Ngeh.

“Buat masa ini, sekiranya apa-apa berlaku, beliau boleh terus menghubungi anggota polis yang bertugas,” katanya.

Terdahulu, Ketua Polis Perak Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri berkata polis kini giat mengesan individu yang disyaki melontarbom koktail molotov itu yang telah menyebabkan tiga kenderaan terjejas.

Beliau berkata kes itu disiasat mengikut Seksyen 435 Kanun Keseksaan. –Bernama
