Musim tengkujuh: Kerajaan Selangor sedia 40 unit pam air – Izham

SHAH ALAM: Kerajaan Negeri Selangor bersedia untuk menggerakkan 40 unit pam air di mana-mana lokaliti berisiko banjir di sekitar negeri ini, sepanjang musim tengkujuh.

Exco Infrastruktur dan Pertanian negeri, Izham Hashim (gambar) berkata pihaknya turut bekerjasama dengan pihak Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) dalam memastikan kelancaran penggunaan pam-pam itu.

“Kita (kini) sudah ada banyak pam, sekarang kita ada 40 pam tersedia untuk digerakkan di mana-mana lokaliti (banjir). Ia termasuk 30 pam (air) daripada Kumpulan Semesta Sdn Bhd.

Cuma selain daripada pam, kena bersedia dengan generator. Kalau ada pam tetapi tiada generator, tiada guna. Justeru, pihak TNB juga diminta bersedia untuk menggerakkan generator (mudah alih) mereka bagi pam-pam air yang menggunakan tenaga elektrik ini,“ katanya kepada pemberita selepas pembentangan Belanjawan Selangor 2024 oleh Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, di sini hari ini.

Ditanya mengenai hasil penaiktarafan sistem pam di Taman Sri Muda, di sini, Izham berkata langkah itu dilihat telah memberi impak yang positif.

“Projek menaik taraf pam bagi Taman Sri Muda berjalan lancar dan kita jangka siap pada Februari tahun depan, apabila siap nanti kawasan itu akan mempunyai sembilan pam air kesemuanya dengan kapasiti pengepaman 13,000 liter per saat.

Lepas naik taraf itu dibuat, kita jangka tiada lagi kejadian banjir besar berlaku di kawasan tersebut. Selain itu, Kerajaan Persekutuan juga telah meluluskan peruntukan RM160 juta bagi pembinaan tembok penghalang banjir khusus di Seksyen 25 (Taman Sri Muda),“ katanya. –Bernama
