Perak catat lebihan pendapatan RM62.4 juta tahun lepas

IPOH: Kerajaan negeri berjaya merekodkan lebihan pendapatan berjumlah RM62.4 juta sepanjang tempoh 2023 berbanding RM29.6 juta yang dicatatkan pada 2022.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad (gambar) berkata ia merupakan jumlah tertinggi dicatatkan dalam sejarah negeri.

“Pada suatu ketika kita pernah melalui episod hitam merekodkan defisit mencecah RM78.01 juta iaitu pada tahun 2020, dan defisit RM6.59 juta pada 2021 akibat serangan Covid-19.

“Namun, kita telah berupaya bangkit untuk kembali mencatat surplus untuk dua tahun berturut-turut iaitu pada tahun 2022 dan 2023. Maknanya, kita dapat buat kutipan dan menguruskan perbelanjaan dengan baik,” katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian pada sidang media selepas berucap sempena Executive Talk dan Perutusan Tahun Baru 2024 di Hotel Casuarina@Meru di sini, hari ini yang turut dihadiri lebih 700 penjawat awam.

Saarani berkata prestasi kewangan negeri juga menunjukkan pengukuhan yang memberangsangkan apabila mencatatkan jumlah RM1.21 bilion sepanjang tempoh tahun lepas.

Dalam perkembangan lain, beliau berkata kerajaan negeri bersedia untuk menggantikan rumput padang sedia ada di Stadium Perak dengan rumput jenis Zeon Zoysia sekiranya mendapat geran yang diperuntukkan oleh Kementerian Belia dan Sukan (KBS).

Katanya tawaran berkenaan bukan hanya menarik bahkan mampu menjimatkan kos penyelenggaraan dan naiktaraf stadium yang buat masa ini tertakluk dibawah bidang kuasa Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI).

Pada 9 Januari lalu, Kementerian Belia dan Sukan (KBS) telah menawarkan geran RM500,000 kepada semua negeri, untuk menaik taraf infrastruktur padang bola sepak di lokasi perlawanan Liga Malaysia. –Bernama
