Polis ambil keterangan Presiden PAS esok

KUALA LUMPUR: Polis akan mengambil keterangan Presiden PAS Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang di ibu pejabat parti itu di sini esok berhubung kenyataan beliau bertajuk ‘Ketinggian Islam wajib dipertahankan’ pada 20 Feb lepas.

Ketua Polis Negara Tan Sri Razarudin Husain (gambar) berkata tarikh tersebut diberikan oleh pegawai khas Abdul Hadi selepas mendapati kesihatan Ahli Parlimen Marang itu semakin baik.

“Kita akan ambil keterangan beliau esok pukul 2.30 petang di Ibu Pejabat PAS di Kuala Lumpur,“ katanya kepada pemberita di sini hari ini.

Beliau berkata demikian selepas menghadiri majlis serah terima tugas Pengarah Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Narkotik Bukit Aman antara Datuk Seri Mohd Kamarudin Md Din dengan Datuk Khaw Kok Chin serta Pengarah Jabatan Keselamatan Dalam Negeri dan Ketenteraman Awam Datuk Seri Hazani Ghazali kepada Mohd Kamarudin di Pulapol Kuala Lumpur.

Sebelum ini, Razarudin berkata pihaknya membuka kertas siasatan mengikut Seksyen 4(1) Akta Hasutan 1948 serta Akta Komunikasi dan Multimedia 1998 terhadap Abdul Hadi berhubung kenyataan beliau yang disiarkan di portal berita milik PAS pada 20 Feb lepas yang didakwa ditujukan kepada beberapa pihak termasuk Raja-Raja Melayu.

Pada 29 Feb lepas, Sultan Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah menzahirkan rasa dukacita dengan kenyataan Abdul Hadi yang dipercayai ditujukan kepada alim ulama, para peguam, hakim, Ahli Parlimen dan Dewan Undangan Negeri serta Raja-Raja Melayu.

Setiausaha Sulit Sultan Sharafuddin Datuk Muhamad Munir Bani memaklumkan Sultan Sharafuddin menyifatkan Abdul Hadi tidak membaca secara menyeluruh dan mendalam titah ucapan baginda semasa Mesyuarat Majlis Kebangsaan Bagi Hal Ehwal Agama Islam pada 15 Feb lepas.

Susulan itu, baginda berkenan mengutus surat kepada Abdul Hadi menerusi Pesuruhjaya PAS Negeri Selangor Datuk Dr Ab Halim Tamuri.

Surat lima halaman itu antara lain menyebut kenyataan Abdul Hadi bukan sahaja mengelirukan malah boleh membawa kegelisahan yang akhirnya boleh menjurus kepada perpecahan perpaduan umat Islam khususnya dalam kalangan orang Melayu di negara ini. –Bernama
