Daiyan Trisha criticizes a repeatedly suspended account for falsely claiming her conversion to Hinduism
LOCAL singer Daiyan Trisha recently issued a statement on her Threads account criticising a profile that alleged she had converted to Hinduism from Islam.
According to multiple screenshots posted online, the profile further claimed that the actress was planning to move to India as part of the alleged religious shift.

Shortly after the account began circulating online, Daiyan expressed her frustration over the misinformation and appealed to her supporters to help report the profile.
Adding to her anger over the situation, Daiyan noted that the account had been suspended “multiple times” but continued to reappear.

“This is obviously fake and I’m so tired of it! It’s been suspended multiple times but keeps coming back.
“I really don’t understand the motive. Like, why? Stop this nonsense,” she said in her post.
The account has since been removed following her statement.
Netizens rallied in support of the singer and assisted in reporting the profile, while some users suggested that she consider legal action for slander.
“You should sue this lunatic,” one user said.
“This account is based in Malaysia. Please hire a lawyer and teach this person a lesson,” advised another.
