A tourist in Malaysia tried a TikTok stunt by hanging from a road sign, bending it sideways — only to get slammed online for her reckless act.
A female tourist in Malaysia has gone viral for all the wrong reasons after a video showed her hanging off a road sign like it was a playground monkey bar — bending it sideways in the process.
The clip, which has been circulating on social media, shows the woman gripping the sign with both hands while her feet dangle in the air.

Seconds later, the metal pole visibly bends under her weight before she lands back on the pavement, dusting off her hands as if she had just completed an Olympic routine.
Despite a few bystanders walking past during the incident, none of them intervened or said anything.
According to netizens, the woman was likely attempting the latest TikTok trend where participants hang from traffic lights or street signs while lip-syncing to Kid Cudi’s ‘Maui Wowie’.
The viral challenge has already drawn criticism from authorities elsewhere — with Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) warning users against damaging public property.
However, Malaysians were far from impressed. Many took to the comments to call out the tourist for her careless behavior.
“An example of the kind of tourist we don’t want coming to Malaysia,” one user called Nur Aniliaz commented.
“These tourists act so weird when they come to Malaysia… When we travel abroad, we mind our manners and respect their laws,” HIdayat Dyat Rezki lamented.
“‘Third world country,’ as some of their gang would say,” Zairul Zekry wrote sarcastically.
