A woman recently caused a scene at an Son Nhat International Airport, Vietnam after refusing to comply with airline staff who told her that her carry-on exceeded the weight limit — and netizens aren’t having it.
According to witnesses, the woman’s bag weighed a whopping 21kg, almost equivalent to the 23kg limit for checked baggage on many airlines.
Yet, she insisted on bringing it onboard, sparking a heated exchange at the boarding gate.

“There’s really no need to make a scene when your carry-on exceeds the weight limit.
“Budget airlines are notoriously strict about baggage policies, and this woman was trying to board with a 21kg carry-on… nearly the same as the 23kg limit for checked luggage on some carriers.
“Rules are rules, and she was clearly pushing them,” mfahadnaimb wrote on Threads.
Videos of the incident quickly spread online, drawing thousands of comments from frustrated travellers.
Netizens didn’t hold back, roasting her for her lack of common sense.
