Yazmin becomes first Malaysian artiste to perform on Wish 107.5 platform
MALAYSIAN–FILIPINA singer-songwriter Yazmin Aziz has become the first Malaysian artiste to perform on the Wish 107.5 Wish Bus.
Her performance of her latest single Nagpalinlang was recorded on Jan 20 and premiered on May 4 at 9pm Malaysia and Philippines time.

The Wish Bus, launched by Philippine radio station Wish 107.5 in 2014, is a mobile radio and recording studio known for its live “Wishclusive” performances, which are uploaded to YouTube.
Yazmin’s appearance places her on a platform that has featured a range of regional and international acts, with many performances drawing large online audiences.
Nagpalinlang, released on Jan 16 under Sony Music, is Yazmin’s first Tagalog single. The title translates to “deceived” in English.
The song was written by Yazmin with Adonis Tabanda and produced by Tabanda and Bo Amir Iqram. It draws from OPM, or Original Pilipino Music, with an upbeat band-driven arrangement.
The track centres on love, deception and self-realisation, following the perspective of a hopeless romantic who learns to choose self-worth over illusion.
Yazmin said through the song’s narrative:
“It’s not a breakup song. It’s a wake-up song.”
Her Wish Bus performance follows a series of international appearances. In 2025, she represented Malaysia at the Silk Way Star Singing Competition in Kazakhstan, where she was the only Southeast Asian contestant.
Yazmin, who is also a content creator and host, has built a cross-cultural following through multilingual content and music. She has more than 1.9 million followers on TikTok, with a strong audience among Filipino listeners.
She was also named among Malaysia’s Top 30 Women of Excellence 2025 and was recognised at the 2025 Canadian Global Awards. Her past performances include the 46th Asean Summit Gala Dinner with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.
Yazmin’s Wish Bus debut marks another step in her regional crossover, linking her Malaysian and Filipino roots through a Tagalog release on one of the Philippines’ most visible live music platforms.
