Ugreen MagFlow is simple, reliable, gets job done
Ugreen’s new MagFlow product series introduces next-generation Qi2 wireless charging to Apple and Android users, combining speed with simple, functional design.
The range includes a power bank and two 2-in-1 charging stands, each built around the same promise of efficient 25W charging, strong magnetic alignment and cross-device compatibility.
Qi2 is the latest evolution of wireless charging delivering fast, safe and efficient wireless power developed by the Wireless Power Consortium.

The Ugreen MagFlow Magnetic Power Bank 10,000mAh 25W, priced at RM209, delivers where it matters most. The power bank itself features a built-in braided Type-C cable that locks magnetically into place, doubling as a carry strap. The idea is clever and clean, though having the cable exposed on the exterior raises concerns about how well it will hold up over time. There is one Type-C port that handles input and output, and a digital display shows the battery percentage. When charging a phone, a blue lightning icon appears, and a different one pops up when the bank itself is recharging.
When tested, the power bank snaps onto the back of an iPhone instantly and holds firm. Even when shaking the device, the grip stays secure whether holding by the phone or the power bank itself. It feels durable and dense in hand, weighing 254g, which gives it a reassuring heft but also makes it less comfortable for prolonged handheld use. It feels like a dependable travel companion although less ideal for users who prefer lighter accessories.

The Ugreen MagFlow Two-in-one Foldable Magnetic Wireless Charger 25W, priced at RM199, takes a more stationary approach. The magnets allow phones to be positioned either vertically or horizontally. AirPods 2 and above can also be charged on the same stand. It folds to adjust the angle between 0 and 70 degrees, and rubber pads at the base keep it from slipping on smooth surfaces. While there is nothing technically wrong with the design, it raises the question of whether something that needs to stay plugged in can truly be called “wireless”. In essence, it functions as a stylish phone stand that happens to charge your device. For an office desk or nightstand, however, it performs wonderfully.

The Ugreen MagFlow Two-in-one Magnetic Wireless Charger 25W, priced at RM209, shares many of the same strengths but adds an extra 5W Type-C output for a smartwatch or other devices. It folds into a cube for storage but the hinges feels tight and somewhat uncomfortable to operate, requiring some effort to adjust, but that stiffness gives confidence that it will hold its position once set. The chrome neck adds a hint of polish to the otherwise minimalist design, though it looks like it could scratch easily with frequent use.
All three models come in the same monotone grey, minimalist finish that blends easily into any space. The design is practical but plain, and while some may find it boring, others will appreciate its neutral, functional appeal.
Each product has its strengths, though Ugreen’s naming convention could be clearer. The two wireless stands are functionally similar and both fold for storage, which could easily confuse buyers trying to tell them apart.
Across all three, the magnetic wireless charging works flawlessly with iPhones 12 and newer, AirPods second generation and above, and the Google Pixel 10 Pro series as their Pixelsnap technology works similarly to Apple’s MagSafe. Other phones that feature wireless charging will also work but lack magnetic alignment, meaning users will need to lay their phones flat and manually position them for best results. However, using a MagSafe-compatible case on certain Android devices allow for magnetic attachment and charge wirelessly as intended.
The experience is dependable, the magnetic hold is impressive and while the designs may lack excitement, they succeed in what they set out to do: provide simple, efficient and reliable wireless charging.
