King of Malaysia confers medals on 124 recipients at birthday ceremony

His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim awards medals to 124 recipients during the Official Birthday celebration investiture in Johor.

KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has graciously conferred medals on 124 recipients in conjunction with His Majesty’s Official Birthday celebration held on March 23.

The investiture ceremony was officiated by the Regent of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail, at the Awards and Medals Ceremony for the districts of Muar, Tangkak and Segamat, held at the Sultan Ibrahim Jubilee Hall in Muar, Johor, today.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of Sultan Ibrahim, a total of 29 individuals received the Pingat Lama dan Baik Dalam Perkhidmatan (PLP), while 19 others were awarded the Pingat Jasa Dan Lama Dalam Pekerjaan (PJP).

Also, 60 individuals received the Pingat Sultan Ibrahim Pangkat Kedua and 16 others were awarded the Pingat Sultan Ibrahim Pangkat Ketiga.

Earlier, the ceremony began with a prayer recital led by the Muar District Kadi, followed by a pledge of loyalty delivered by the Muar District Officer, accompanied by the District Officers of Tangkak and Segamat.
