MELAKA: The Melaka state government through the State Economic Planning Unit (UPEN) is publishing the Melakaku Maju Jaya (PSMJ 2035) strategic plan, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali (pix).
He said it would be a reference document especially to all relevant implementing agencies and stakeholders as a comprehensive and holistic development roadmap of the state until 2035.
“Before it is launched, engagement sessions to obtain the people’s feedback on the PSMJ 2035 draft would be conducted from tomorrow until Jan 14,” he said in a statement here today.
Sulaiman said the sessions will be conducted via two methods, namely an online survey form which can be downloaded or the physical survey forms placed in the departments, agencies, government-linked companies (GLC) and the office of the State Legislative Assembly Department and Coordination Committee (JAPERUN).
He said the information collection forms would be uploaded at the Melaka state government official Facebook page from tomorrow at 10 am and hoped all government agencies would announce the matter to enable the information reached all walks of life.
“I hope people of Melaka would take part in the survey to enable the state government to understand people’s confidence level in the government in ensuring a comprehensive and holistic development of Melaka until 2035 can be realised,” he added. — Bernama
