HONDA Malaysia has introduced a new colour option – Platinum White Pearl – for the Civic and new BR-V, replacing the White Orchid Pearl.
The Platinum White Pearl colour was first introduced by Honda Malaysia in the Odyssey MPV and D-segment executive saloon, the 10th-generation Accord.
“The new colour option further complements the elegance and stylishness of the Civic as well as the attractiveness and sportiness of the new BR-V; enabling them to be a travel companion that is well-suited for any lifestyle,” says the company.
To-date, these two models are dominating its respective segment with substantial contribution to the total Honda Malaysia’s overall sales.
Honda Malaysia managing director and CEO Toichi Ishiyama said: “White Orchid Pearl is a popular colour among Honda customers, accounting for 38% and 25% of the total sales for the 10th-generation Civic and new BR-V respectively.
“When we introduced the Platinum White Pearl colour in the Accord early this year, we saw good market acceptance with this colour accounting for 33% of the sales of the model. We are extending this colour to the C-segment leader and the refreshed full seven-seater crossover in response to customer feedback.
“The glossy finish of the new Platinum White Pearl not only highlights the elegant look of the cars, it also accentuates the bodyline for a sleek and smooth exterior. Honda Malaysia will continue to actively monitor market demand as we strive to offer the best products for Honda customers.”
The Civic in new Platinum White Pearl is now available in the market, while the new BR-V in the new colour is expected to be available in November.
Surcharge of the new colour for both the Civic and the new BR-V is RM272.73 (price subject to change without prior notice).
