Police investigate alleged sexual assault of disabled teen at Cheras school

KL police investigate sexual assault claim involving disabled 16-year-old girl allegedly attacked by classmate in Cheras secondary school restroom.

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault involving a disabled teenage girl at a secondary school in Cheras.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus confirmed a police report had been lodged regarding Tuesday’s incident.

“Investigations are ongoing,” he said in a statement on Friday.

The case involves a 16-year-old disabled girl who claimed a male classmate pulled her into a school restroom and sexually assaulted her.

The victim managed to escape the restroom and left the school premises immediately after the incident.

She subsequently reported the alleged assault to her mother, who then discovered what had occurred.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the serious allegations. – Bernama
