Three suspects remanded over Seremban shooting death

Three men are remanded until Dec 15 for a fatal Seremban shooting that killed one man and injured another during morning rush hour.

SEREMBAN: Three men have been remanded until Dec 15 in connection with a fatal shooting on Jalan Rasah-Mambau yesterday.

Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said the suspects, aged between 30 and 40, were arrested at separate locations in Nilai, Seremban and Port Dickson early today.

Following their arrests, police seized a pistol believed to have been used in the shooting.

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder and Section 3 of the Firearms (Increased Penalties) Act 1971.

In the 7.30 am incident yesterday, two assailants on a motorcycle fired into a moving car during the morning rush hour.

A 43-year-old man died while receiving treatment at Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital. A 47-year-old man was injured and is still receiving treatment.
