Fire department assists police in removing obese woman’s body

Kelantan fire department helps police remove body of 200kg woman from Gua Musang home during night operation involving nine personnel.

KOTA BHARU: Firefighters from Gua Musang station assisted police in removing the body of an obese woman from a residence in Kampung Sungai Terah last night.

The Kelantan Fire and Rescue Department operations centre received an emergency call at 8.47 pm regarding the incident.

Nine personnel were deployed to handle the sensitive operation at the Gua Musang location.

The team arrived at the scene at 9.03 pm to begin the removal process.

The deceased was identified as a 30-year-old woman weighing approximately 200 kilograms.

She had passed away inside her home before emergency services were notified.

Fire department personnel successfully extracted the body from the residential property.

The remains were subsequently handed over to police for further investigation and procedures.

Authorities have not disclosed the cause of death at this preliminary stage. – Bernama
