King Sultan Ibrahim conveys prayers for Brunei’s Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah’s safe knee surgery and full recovery, with a recovery period of two to three months.
KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, has extended his prayers and well wishes to the Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah.
The Brunei ruler is scheduled to undergo a right total knee replacement procedure.
In a post on the Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar Facebook page, the Malaysian King conveyed his message on behalf of himself and the people of Malaysia.
“We pray that His Majesty will undergo the treatment safely and be granted a full recovery by Allah SWT, and that all related matters will be eased,” His Majesty said.
According to a statement from the Brunei Prime Minister’s Office, the surgery is scheduled for Jan 18.
The expected recovery period following the procedure is two to three months, which will include physiotherapy sessions.
