KTM Komuter Batu Tiga-Subang Jaya route disrupted by overhead line break

KTM Komuter services on Batu Tiga-Subang Jaya route face major delays and early termination due to overhead line break, with shuttle buses deployed.

KUALA LUMPUR: The KTM Komuter train service on the Batu Tiga-Subang Jaya route experienced a disruption this morning due to a break in the overhead line.

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad announced in a statement that the incident occurred at approximately 8.30 am.

This incident temporarily closed the line between the Subang Jaya and Batu Tiga stations.

Commuters faced delays of more than 60 minutes from the original schedule.

Train services were also terminated early because operations were only using a single track.

Service for the Port Klang-Tanjung Malim route will now end at Shah Alam, Batu Tiga and Padang Jawa stations.

Arrangements are being made for passengers to take shuttle buses to Subang Jaya station to continue their journeys.

For afternoon operations, trains from KL Sentral will terminate at Subang Jaya station.

Passengers will then board shuttle buses between Subang Jaya and Shah Alam.

They will continue their journey using commuter trains from Shah Alam station to Port Klang.

KTMB’s technical team is currently at the scene conducting repair work.

They aim to restore normal train services as soon as possible.

KTMB apologised for the inconvenience experienced by passengers.

The company also appreciates the patience and cooperation of all parties. – Bernama
