Longer thunderstorms and heavy rain forecast for Sabah, Sarawak

Sabah and Sarawak brace for extended thunderstorms and heavy rain as monsoon wind gusts enter the country, with rough seas warning for the South China Sea.

This situation has also caused strong winds and rough seas in the South China Sea.

MetMalaysia has issued a strong wind and rough sea warning for the waters of the South China Sea effective from Feb 18 to 21.
