The Negeri Sembilan state assembly begins its four-day session with a royal address and ceremonial honours.
SEREMBAN: The First Meeting of the Fourth Session of the 15th Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly opens today.
The official ceremony will be officiated by the Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir.
His Royal Highness is scheduled to deliver the royal address after 10 am. Tunku Ampuan Besar Tuanku Aishah Rohani Tengku Besar Mahmud will also attend the ceremony.
Tuanku Muhriz will receive a royal salute and inspect a guard of honour. The honour guard will be mounted by three officers and 103 personnel from the 14th Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment.
The state assembly sitting is scheduled to run for four days, concluding on April 29.
Negeri Sembilan has 36 state seats. The state government is led by Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun.
