PDRM has transferred 11 senior officers across Bukit Aman departments and district commands in a major administrative reshuffle.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has announced a significant transfer exercise involving 11 senior officers across various departments at Bukit Aman and district police commands in several states.
PDRM secretary DCP Abdul Rahman Kassim confirmed the transfers involve postings within the Management Department, Special Branch, Commercial Crime Investigation Department and the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department at federal headquarters.
Datuk Mohd Faisal Yahya, previously the principal assistant director of Bukit Aman Management (Administration), has been appointed deputy director of management (administration) with the acting rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP).
SAC Abd Rahman Atan, the former head of the Inspector-General of Police’s legal secretariat, is now the deputy director (Standards Compliance) of the Bukit Aman Integrity and Standards Compliance Department, also with the acting rank of DCP.
Bukit Aman Special Branch assistant director E7A SAC Mohamed Roslan Ahmed Junaidi has been promoted to principal assistant director E7 of the department with the acting rank of DCP.
Seberang Perai Tengah district police chief ACP Helmi Aris has been transferred to head the Johor Management Department with the acting rank of Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC).
Wangsa Maju district police chief ACP Mohamad Lazim Ismail will serve as deputy director (Strategic Planning) of the Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department, also with the acting rank of SAC.
Assistant director of Crime Prevention Operations ACP Che Haniza Che Senapi has been appointed principal assistant director (Support Resource Coordination) of the Bukit Aman Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department with the acting rank of SAC.
Director of Integrated Operations at the National Financial Crimes Prevention Centre (NFCC) ACP Annas Sulaiman has been named the new Wangsa Maju district police chief.
Putrajaya District deputy police chief Supt Azari Miskon will serve as the new Sibu district police chief with the acting rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).
Chief training officer (Budget/Monitoring) of the Bukit Aman Management Department Training Division Supt Johar Dasuki has been appointed commandant of the Air Hitam Police Training Centre (PULAPOL) with the acting rank of ACP.
Tawau district deputy police chief Supt Champin Piuh will assume the post of Beaufort district police chief with the acting rank of Superintendent.
Sabak Bernam district deputy police chief DSP Khalid Mohamad has been appointed Muallim district police chief, also carrying the acting rank of Superintendent.
