Heavy rain and thunderstorms hit six states tonight

MetMalaysia warns of thunderstorms and heavy rain in six states including Perak, Kelantan, Sabah and Sarawak until 11pm tonight.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm, heavy rain and strong winds warning for six states till 11 pm tonight.

MetMalaysia said that Perak (Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Perak Tengah and Kampar), Kelantan (Gua Musang), Terengganu (Dungun dan Kemaman) and Pahang (Tanah Tinggi Cameron, Lipis and Jerantut) in Peninsula Malaysia will be affected.

Also, Kuching (Bau and Kuching), Serian and Samarahan in Sarawak, along with Sandakan (Tongod, Telupid, Kinabatangan and Sandakan) in Sabah are also affected.
