Lebih 300 calon SPM di Perak dipindah pusat peperiksaan akibat banjir

Seramai 306 calon SPM di Perak dipindahkan ke pusat peperiksaan baharu berikutan banjir, melibatkan empat sekolah di beberapa daerah.

IPOH: Seramai 306 calon Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) dari empat sekolah di Perak telah dipindahkan ke pusat peperiksaan baharu akibat banjir.

Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pendidikan, Pengajian Tinggi, Belia dan Sukan Negeri Perak Datuk Khairudin Abu Hanipah berkata mereka terdiri daripada 275 calon sekolah dan 31 calon persendirian.

“Keadaan sekolah tidak selamat susulan musibah banjir menyebabkan pemindahan ini diperlukan,” katanya di Dewan Undangan Negeri Perak.

Calon dari SMK Abdul Rahman Talib, Teluk Intan dipindahkan ke SMK Seri Perak melibatkan 67 calon sekolah dan 11 calon persendirian.

Seramai 59 calon dari SMK Seri Kandi, Teluk Intan akan mengambil peperiksaan di SMK Seri Setia.

SMK Tun Abdul Razak, Selekoh memindahkan 93 calon sekolah dan 20 calon persendirian ke Dewan Masjid Tuminah Hamidi.

Manakala 56 calon sekolah dari SMK Datul Idris, Pantai Remis akan berpindah ke SMK Pantai Remis.

Khairudin turut memaklumkan 20 calon dari Sekolah Menengah Tahfiz Darul Ridzuan dipindahkan ke SMK Pangkor berikutan insiden runtuhan cerun.

Setakat 8 pagi, Perak merekodkan 4,766 mangsa banjir daripada 1,447 keluarga masih di 30 pusat pemindahan.

Mereka berlindung di lima daerah terjejas iaitu Hilir Perak, Manjung, Bagan Datuk, Perak Tengah serta Larut Matang dan Selama.

Menjawab soalan mengenai keselamatan sekolah, Khairudin menekankan komitmen Kementerian Pendidikan terhadap aspek Kebersihan, Kesihatan dan Keselamatan.

“Langkah utama merangkumi Dasar, Garis Panduan, Surat Pekeliling Ikhtisas dan Surat Siaran berkaitan pengurusan keselamatan murid,” ujarnya.

Pemantauan berterusan dilaksana melalui Sistem Penarafan Keselamatan Sekolah selain kerjasama dengan agensi seperti Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia. – Bernama
