The Social Welfare Department will provide psychosocial support and aid to three children whose parents were found dead in Sri Aman.
KUCHING: The Social Welfare Department (JKM) will provide psychosocial support to the three children of a couple found dead in a house in Sri Aman.
Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said the department will also consider other aid, including through JKM-managed funds.
“They are still in school, and our officers have collected relevant information about them,” she told reporters.

Nancy added that the children are now with close relatives and hoped proper procedures would be followed to appoint suitable guardians.
She spoke at the ministry’s MADANI Adopted Village handover ceremony in Kampung Buntal.
Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mohamad Zainal Abdullah confirmed a headmaster and his wife were found dead with severe injuries.
The 45-and 44-year-old couple were discovered by the public at 6.55 am at a house on Jalan Brayun.
Police are investigating the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. – Bernama
