Bukit Aman director calls on all police personnel to uphold integrity, professionalism and community needs, emphasising modern facilities and cooperation

BANDAR BAHARU: All Royal Malaysia Police personnel have been urged to continue serving with a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Bukit Aman Integrity and Standards Compliance Department director Datuk Hamzah Ahmad said all orders and instructions issued are intended to protect everyone, particularly the public.

“In terms of integrity and also the compliance of standards, I urge all PDRM staff to comply as best as they can with all slogans, instructions and orders that are issued by the leadership,” he told reporters.

He said the needs of local communities, especially regarding security, must also be met as best as possible.

Hamzah was speaking after officiating at the launch of the Bandar Baharu District Police Headquarters.

He said the new headquarters reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening security capabilities in line with population growth and socio-economic development.

The provision of complete and modern facilities will enable more efficient, responsive and focused services for the local community.

“Despite the challenges and the wide area of coverage, the close cooperation between the police and the community remains the cornerstone to ensuring the district’s harmony,” he added.

He stated that all aspects will be examined, including ongoing efforts to curb various forms of crime.

This includes violent, property and commercial crimes, as well as drug abuse.

Also present at the event were Kedah police chief Datuk Adzli Abu Shah and his deputy, DCP Baderulhisham Baharudin.
