Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi says policy continuity and Cabinet unity are vital for national prosperity and stability following the government reshuffle.
KUALA LUMPUR: Policy continuity and a spirit of togetherness in the Cabinet are key to building a more prosperous and stable nation, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
He said the reshuffle announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim would strengthen the MADANI Government’s administration, especially amid global economic challenges.
“Insya-Allah, with renewed commitment and a strengthened Cabinet team, I pray that we can continue to move forward and together give the best to all Malaysians,” he posted on Facebook.
Ahmad Zahid described the reshuffle as strengthening governance and facilitating policy implementation to meet the people’s needs.
He specifically congratulated Barisan Nasional (BN) members appointed to the Cabinet.
These include Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad as Minister of Plantation and Commodities and Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani as Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry.
He also congratulated the newly appointed deputy ministers from BN.
Ahmad Zahid expressed appreciation to all ministers who had completed their service.
He stressed that their contributions would remain an important foundation for the new leadership to build upon.
