Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi has retained the Machap state seat in a straight fight against Pakatan Harapan.

PETALING JAYA: Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi has retained the Machap state constituency in the 16th Johor state election, according to unofficial results.

Onn Hafiz, who represented Barisan Nasional (BN), successfully defended the seat in a straight fight against Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Nur Hafiz Roslan.

The victory allows Onn Hafiz to maintain his position as the Machap assemblyman after facing a one-on-one contest in the state polls.
