Rapid Bus finalises its app consolidation on November 15, merging all zones under Rapid On-Demand for easier, unified travel across the Klang Valley.
KUALA LUMPUR: Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd will complete its booking app consolidation on November 15, fully migrating all service zones to the single Rapid On-Demand platform.
This final phase closes the Kummute app, integrating all zones under one digital system.
The consolidation replaces three separate apps – Mobi, Trek Rides, and Kummute – simplifying and standardising the booking process.
Acting chief executive officer Ku Jamil Zakaria said this completes the gradual digital transformation of Rapid KL On-Demand services that began in June 2025.
“With all zones fully integrated into the Rapid On-Demand app, users can now book trips conveniently without switching between apps,” he said.
He added that the move strengthens connectivity and supports smart, inclusive mobility.
The final phase merges and expands several zones, including Sri Rampai/Ulu Klang Station to Taman Melawati and Taman Medan to Sunway.
Other merged zones include Putrajaya Sentral Station to Precinct 1 and Sungai Way to Taman Paramount Station.
Users now only need the free Rapid On-Demand app, available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The RM1 fare promotion continues for every journey, with payment via Touch ‘n Go, DuitNow, cards, e-Wallet, or concession passes.
