Voluntary contributions rise to RM19.2 bln driven by i-Saraan programme – EPF CEO

Overall contributions received grew 12.3 per cent to RM121.5 billion, supported by higher membership, wage growth and sustained confidence in EPF.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) voluntary contributions continued to gain momentum, rising to RM19.2 billion last year with the i-Saraan programme being the key driver, said its chief executive Ahmad Zulqarnain Onn.

He said the incentive recipients increased 35.9 per cent to 720,056 and total contributions surged 50.8 per cent to RM4.0 billion.

“The number of Malaysian formal sector members contributing above statutory rates through i-Topup increased 26.0 per cent to 229,901.

“Overall contributions received grew 12.3 per cent to RM121.5 billion, supported by higher membership, wage growth and sustained confidence in EPF,” he said in a statement following the 2025 EPF dividend announcement today.
