Kuala Selangor police deny viral student murder claims as false

Police confirm no student murder occurred in Pekan Lama Kuala Selangor, refuting viral social media images and messages about the incident.

KUALA SELANGOR: Police have officially denied viral social media claims about a student murder incident in Pekan Lama Kuala Selangor.

Kuala Selangor district police chief Superintendent Azharudin Tajuddin confirmed his department has received no reports regarding the alleged incident.

“No student was killed at the location and there was no case of a child murdered either at that location or elsewhere around Kuala Selangor district,” he stated via WhatsApp message.

Social media circulated an image showing a male purported to be a school student lying in front of an optical shop.

The viral post falsely claimed the photograph was taken in Pekan Lama Kuala Selangor. – Bernama
