Grammys red carpet dazzles with monochrome, sheer looks and protest pins

The 68th Grammys red carpet featured black and white elegance, daring sheer gowns, and ‘ICE OUT’ protest pins against US immigration crackdowns

LOS ANGELES: Music’s biggest stars showcased bold fashion at the 68th Grammy Awards red carpet on Sunday.

The event at the Crypto.com Arena was dominated by monochrome palettes, barely-there designs, and political statements.

Puerto Rican megastar Bad Bunny made a stylish entrance in a Schiaparelli velvet tuxedo with a white lapel flower.

He later made history by winning the coveted Album of the Year award.

Lady Gaga presented a dramatic look in a high-necked black feather gown from Matieres Fecales.

Her platinum blonde hair and eyebrows completed the striking ‘Mayhem’-era ensemble.

Best New Artist winner Olivia Dean stunned in an elegant Chanel gown featuring a white skirt and sequinned black bodice.

K-pop singer Rose combined a black mini dress with a billowing cream overskirt for her Saint Laurent look.

She performed her viral hit ‘APT.’ with Bruno Mars during the ceremony.

Sheer and revealing designs were a major trend on the red carpet.

Pop star Sabrina Carpenter wore a wispy Valentino gown with strategic floral appliques and ruffles.

Girl group Katseye arrived in matching white Ludovic de Saint Sernin gowns with cutouts and lace.

Colombian singer Karol G wowed in a sea foam green sheer dress that hugged her figure.

Last year’s Best New Artist winner Chappell Roan made a daring statement by removing a cape.

She revealed a skirt suspended from nipple rings, with her body adorned in henna-like art.

A number of celebrities wore ‘ICE OUT’ pins to protest US immigration policies.

Legendary singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell sported the pin alongside Justin and Hailey Bieber.

Singers Margo Price, Helen Shen, and Jordan Tyson also joined the silent protest.

The pins reference President Donald Trump’s crackdown by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

This follows a similar display of the pins at the recent Golden Globes ceremony.
