NBA-leading Thunder snap two-game losing streak, Raptors top Warriors in OT behind Scottie Barnes’ triple-double

THE Oklahoma City Thunder ended a two-game skid with a convincing 129-104 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.

Chet Holmgren led the reigning NBA champions with 29 points and nine rebounds.

Reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 27 points, five assists, and two steals as the Thunder improved their league-best record to 27-5.

“We just did a good job getting back to our style of play and our standards,” said Thunder reserve Andrew Wiggins.

Wiggins, who scored 15 points, said the team had been more disciplined after losing four of their previous six games.

Tyrese Maxey scored 28 points to lead seven double-digit scorers for the 76ers, who fell to 16-14.

In another game, the Toronto Raptors defeated the visiting Golden State Warriors 141-127 in overtime.

Scottie Barnes delivered a triple-double with 23 points, 25 rebounds, and 10 assists to lead Toronto.

Immanuel Quickley scored 27 points and Brandon Ingram added 26 for the Raptors.

Stephen Curry scored a game-high 39 points for the Warriors, whose three-game win streak was snapped.

Toronto opened overtime on a 10-0 run and never looked back, with Quickley scoring five points in the extra session.
