Terengganu FC to rely on local players against PDRM FC

Terengganu FC will field local players against PDRM FC due to injuries and contract terminations, aiming to bounce back from a recent defeat.

TERENGGANU FC will bank on local talent when they face PDRM FC in a Super League match tomorrow.

The club, also known as the Turtles, are short on options as most foreign players are injured or have had contracts terminated.

Acting head coach Tengku Hazman Raja Hassan said he will field the same players from their last outing.

“This could be a good opportunity for our local players to shine,” he said when contacted.

He hopes those selected will give their all in the match at Selayang Municipal Council Stadium.

Tengku Hazman also reminded the squad not to repeat mistakes from their recent 2-0 home defeat to Penang FC.

The 48-year-old coach urged his players to stay focused until the final whistle.

Terengganu FC currently sit fifth in the Super League standings with 18 points from 13 matches.

New player signings are still being processed under the ongoing mid-season transfer window.
