Hathaway still thriving at 41

BELOVED actress Anne Hathaway has continued to thrive past the age of 35, despite Hollywood’s bizarre insistence on a “life span” for the careers of female actresses.

At 41, Hathaway has defied something she often heard when her career began as a teenager.

“When I started out as a child, I was warned that my career would fall off a cliff at the age of 35, which is something I know a lot of women face,” Hathaway recently told Porter magazine.

“The thing that has evolved during that time is that more women are having careers deeper into their lives, which I think is fantastic. Obviously, it doesn’t mean we should have a ticker tape parade. Someone said this to me the other day. There’s so much to be proud of and there’s so much to fix.”

It may seem like yesterday, but Hathaway’s career began with Disney’s The Princess Diaries which came out 22 years ago.

Afterwards, her roles briefly stayed in teenage fantasy before they began to diversify as her capabilities expanded, leading her to star in Les Miserables, The Dark Knight Returns and Interstellar, among many others.

During the world premiere of Hathaway’s upcoming film Eileen earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, she made headlines for discussing her career as a teen actor.

“I just remembered one of the very first questions I ever got asked when I started acting and had to do press was, Are you a good girl or a bad girl? I was 16 years old.” Hathaway said at the film festival.
