It’s BTS’s second year in a row winning Favourite Duo or Group – Pop/ Rock and their third year in a row as Favourite Social Artist.

Since they were not able to attend the ceremony, BTS shared their gratitude for the award through a video message.

“Thank you ARMY and the AMAs for this great honor,” and RM added, “Wish Suga was here with us today to celebrate today, but alright,” Jimin began.

“And we’re sorry we can’t be there in person to receive this award, but still glad that we could connect from Seoul,” Jungkook added.

RM said, “We got this title last year too, so thank you for your continued support and love, especially in a year so full of uncertainties and doubts.”

“In the middle of this, we want to remain as a group that brings comfort to the world through music,” said J-Hope.

“That’s exactly what we wanted to do with our new album as well to tell ARMY that despite everything, our life goes on,” Jin added.

V concluded the speech by saying, “Thank you again for this precious award. Love you ARMY!”

BTS also recently returned with an album titled BE and performed the title track Life Goes On for the first time at the AMA ceremony. The group wrapped up the night with their English-language single Dynamite.
