AFTER a controversy-laden week following her pilgrimage to Makkah, cosmetics queen Nur Sajat (pix) has made a public apology to all Malaysians.
Appearing in a black tudung, a tearful Nur Sajat also took the opportunity to apologise on behalf of her family, whom she claims she innocently dragged into controversy.
“I apologise on behalf of my parents, my family, and my friends. I also want to apologise to all religious departments, muftis, ustaz, PUs, and ulamas. I am extremely sorry, I had no (ill) intentions,” said Nur Sajat.
The apology was aired live on Aliff Syukri’s Facebook page yesterday.
In the video, she also defended herself by emphasising that her only intention was to get closer to God. She had admitted previously she had no religious guidance whatsoever.
She also said: “If I was religiously distant before, do they want me to throw away my faith? I am sad, why aren’t people like me accepted in the house of God?”
