JMR partners with XPEL for 2026 motorsport season

Johor Motorsports Racing announces a major season-long partnership with automotive protection film company XPEL for its 2026 racing campaigns.

JOHOR Motorsports Racing (JMR) has announced a major new partnership with premium automotive protection film company XPEL for the 2026 race season.

The collaboration strengthens JMR’s position as a leading Asian motorsports team.

XPEL has upgraded its commitment from an event sponsor to a full season-long partner for 2026.

This follows JMR’s impressive podium finish at the Suzuka 1000 endurance race last September.

JMR’s president and principal driver, Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ibrahim, said XPEL is a perfect partner for the team’s ambitions.

JMR will compete in the Intercontinental GT Challenge and Asian Le Mans Series in 2026.

“I’ve been using XPEL products on all my cars for several years now, so I’m truly delighted to officially partner with them for the new season,” he said.

“XPEL’s protection solutions are especially important for us in long endurance races, where the car has to perform and look its best from start to finish.”

He added that XPEL shares the team’s commitment to excellence both on and off the track.

XPEL Asia Pacific vice president Chris West highlighted the shared values between the two brands.

“JMR represents excellence both on and off the track, and XPEL is proud to support a team that shares our commitment to performance and precision,” West said.

He noted the partnership will help XPEL connect with enthusiasts across Asia.

It will also showcase how XPEL products perform in demanding motorsport environments.
