Kerajaan jamin projek Kampung Sungai Baru mampu dimiliki kaum Melayu

PUTRAJAYA: Kerajaan memberi jaminan projek pembangunan semula Kampung Sungai Baru di Kuala Lumpur akan menyediakan unit kediaman yang mampu dimiliki oleh kaum Melayu.

Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri (Wilayah Persekutuan) Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa berkata pihaknya melalui Jabatan Wilayah Persekutuan sedang berusaha memastikan harga kediaman yang dibangunkan kelak berada pada paras mampu milik.

Beliau menegaskan kerajaan tidak akan mengetepikan isu Tanah Rizab Melayu dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan semula kampung berkenaan.

“Kami sebagai kerajaan akan membantu untuk memudahkan dan mereka dapat kembali ke kampung mereka,“ katanya.

Projek pembangunan semula Kampung Sungai Baru dijangka memberi peluang kepada penduduk untuk memiliki kediaman lebih selesa dan moden.

Pampasan dianggarkan mencecah jutaan ringgit bagi sesetengah pemilik rumah dalam projek tersebut. – Bernama
