Sultan of Pahang urges Muslims to mark Israk and Mikraj, emphasising prayer, faith, and unity as pillars of personal and community development.
KUANTAN: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah have called on all Muslims to commemorate the events of Israk and Mikraj.
Their Royal Highnesses urged the community to take the occasion as a profound reminder of the greatness of Allah SWT.
They emphasised the central importance of prayer as the foundation for shaping the character and faith of a true believer.
“This great event reminds us that spiritual strength, sincerity in worship and noble morals are the pillars of personal well-being, family harmony and community development,” they said in a statement.
The statement was posted on the Pahang Sultanate’s official Facebook page.
Their Royal Highnesses encouraged Muslims to use the commemoration to continuously strengthen their faith.
They also called on the community to preserve unity and perform their duties responsibly.
The observance should serve as a catalyst for a life more pleasing to Allah SWT, they added.
Their Royal Highnesses said the event should also bring blessings and lasting prosperity to the state and the entire ummah. – Bernama
